I am copying this letter to Whitteridge and Scarlett and, if you and they agree, perhaps Scarlett would be good enough to notify the Hong Kong Government accordingly. We would then arrange to pay over the sum of £250,769:198:8d. to the Crown Agents for account of the Accountant-General, Hong Kong.
